couple questions before i make the purchase..
The car is an 2004 silver / white alcatera suede 6 speed s4... The car has 76,534 miles. which leads into my first question! Is mileage an issue with theses cars? i know b5 s4 were garbage once they hit 30k the turbos died! Is it the same with b6 s4? i know these are non-turbo'd but i am kinda asking if they have any flags i should look for?
The dealership i am buying it from said it was a trade in for a lexus ISF. they took the car to the auction, it didn't sell.. it has 1 problem that i am aware of b/c the dealer told me. the clutch is almost stuck to the ground.. which Lexus said they are taking into the shop and do all repairs or replace the whole thing if need be.. Everything else inside and out is mint clean.. even the suede seats which white tends to get dirrty super fast! have not test drove it yet..
they spoke to me for a while and i got the price down to 15,500 they also said i can buy an aftermarket power-train warranty if i pay some extra cash n i can take it to any audi/dealer to get something fixed if god forbid something goes bad..
was wondering if that price seems to good to be true for the car? or even if the car seems to be to good to be true? if there is any advice that anyone can give me on what i should look for under the hood, during the test drive, or just things that tend to go bad at mileage of that amount? thank you so much!!!
forgot to say.. Carfax appears rather clean
2 owners... one lease it.. other bought it as a certified pre-owned then traded it in current date
