agreed, hood pins are very functional. they prevent what barkerd said.
I am running the aerolatch pins, very stealthy. The only hood I know that doesnt need hood pins is vorsteiner. My buddy has it and we have gone well over 120 MPH and no problems.
Its simple, lighter the hood requires hood pins, heavier hoods might not. If you install the hood and when you drive over 80MPH and the hood looks like it is vibrating, than get hood pins, else you might be safe.
