its all this slanted headlight shit, they figure that if they put it on one car, they have to put it on ever other car that they manufacture as well. It's stupid of them to even think that this looks good in the first place, but Im sure a tuner will take it and make it look boss.

UGwagen, I was just stating the front of the new MB E-Class looks like the rear of the 09 TL. In summary they both look ass, sorry for the confusion.

the outgoing (and current) E-class has LED tail lights--- it came with the "refresh".

The new ones... looks cheesy because each individual led/reflector stands out too much.

Sad...the curret E-Class is their best looking sedan. Easily looks better than the C or S. why does mercedes need to steal other people's designs? the front and rear lights look strait off a Lexus.

MB...please decide on headlights. round or square. 1 or 2. its getting annoying.

remember the bashing the 7 series interior took when it came out? well guess who still pretty much copied it for their new S-Class.

Bland and ugly. Hard to pull off with the same design.

Unforunately, this will appeal to MB's market. Think about it- they are now chasing Lexus for sales, and the majority of people who buy this car are slightly-more-than-middle-age, really-want-the-S Class-but-can't-justify-the-cost.

People who buy Lexus WANT boring cars. MB is just jumping on board.

Most MB/Lexus buyers don't have the car taste to recognize that an A6 is a remarkably beautiful design, and the fact that it is a far superior value to either the Lexus/MB/or (to a lesser extent) BMW is completely lost on them.

Let's hope Audi keeps its leadership position in the segment.

Ughh "redesigned model" yet its using the same old ugly buttons on the steering wheel. Even BMW was smart enough to upgrade to new controls with rotatable wheels for volume control/track selection. Looks like Mercedes also copied BMW's transmission stalk thing (which will be abandoned in the 7 Series, for good reason). Bravo Mercedes!

the whole dual headlight thing looks like it was taken directly from the Lexus GS350 and the rear end in that picture makes it look like a maybach 62 which is allready an ugly car. dual fogs are ugly too. has anyone seen any pictures of the 2010 BMW 5 series?

BMW has lost who??? I think the 5 series is better than the A6 aside from the nav interface...
