No start after stage 3 install

I got my motor all back together and went out to start it and it's not happening. I craked it for 30 sec or so without the ECU to prime the turbos first went and put the ECU in and the car wont start now. It's getting spark and fuel but still not start.

I took one if the spark plugs out and it's pretty soked with fuel. I also did headgaskets in this car and had the block torn apart.

Does it take a while for the this motor to restore it's compression? When it cranks motor almost stops for a sec every 5 secs or so like compression is stoping it.

Any ideas before i start tking shit apart?

sounds like a timing issue to me esp. since you had the heads off but idk GL

Mine did something similar when the crank position sensor was shot. Motor would crank and then pause like it was drawing too much power or timing then continue to crank and pause. Check that sensor just to make sure its not rubbing on the flywheel. Have you Vag'd it yet? Either way good luck!

No i dont have vag yet. If the crank sensor is out it would have no spark and or fuel right??

I think if the crank sensor was out it wouldn't know how to time the motor? which could prevent you from starting.

I could be totally wrong though.

Just checked the injectors and they are getting pulse and timing is on the dot. WTF??? iM RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS HERE. Plugs are really wet so i will try some new plugs next.

Anyone have any clue what to look for i tried all the obvious.

If the cs didnt work the ECU wouldnt give spark or fuel but i donk know Audi all that good so i could be wrong.

My car just cranked after a motor pull b/c I had the ignition control modules switched on top of the air box.

I think you flooded your engine with fuel.... I know normally guys just pull the fuel pump relay to make sure theres no fuel going to the motor when priming... in your case there was fuel going to the motor... perhaps you should pull all the spark plugs crank the engine to get all the fuel out of it and put in new dry spark plugs and give it a shot...

Bingo!! I had banks switched out and it was sparking but not in the right cylinders. Fired right up.

Everything looks good so far i just have a vacuume leake someplace. When in pull my oil dipstick it acts like a vacuum and sucks air in.
