Stg III S4, TB keeps popping out of alignment

T1demonT1 Just finished installing my clutch and putting the engine back into the car, Doing trial drives at first we were in limp mode, after clearing codes we went past 5 psi but after a second of high boost the car fell flat on its nose and basically went into oh shit cant go past 20 mph mode.

Upon checking the codes we came up with

P1173

Throttle Actuation Potentiometer Sign.2 Signal too High

P1544 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

16507 - Throttle Position Sensor (G69): Signal too High

As well as P1545



We did a Throttle body alignment but right when we get on it, it does the same thing. High boost, then BAM , back on its nose into 20mph only mode with the similar codes. Does the Throttle body need some miles on it with "normal" driving before getting on it? Any suggestions?

What does that have to do with my codes. I'm not leaking boost

last night i drove around for about 15 miles, then hit it and it worked fabulous. I did atleast a dozen pulls that night over the course of about two hours. I thought the car was fine then shut it off for 10 minutes, start to come home and hit it and it its super limp.

The side effects of this limp are:
the car cant go over 1100 rpm
ecp, traction control, and abs lights come on
some code for tb malfunction

sounds like a massive boost leak..

try this, check your TBB, do not release the TBB, slide your fingers underneath the bottom and see it is still seated. It might be seated from the top, but it might be loose on the bottom.

Rajan, as t1demon described above.it boosts fine but all over sudden it just jerks as the throttle body goes into some sort of limp mode.you can't rev or anything. With a boost leak it would at least let you build rev slowly.

sounds electrical.... did you plug the MAP sensor back in on top of the TBB?

found the issue, the plug to the tb came loose and was causing the issue. car is beastin full stg3 now :D
