Opinions needed, 19" Staggered Carlsson Replicas

I am going to buy a set from VW vortex. right now I am running 16" stock wheels, they are ugly. I saw how the Carlsson reps look, they look good to me.

I already told the seller to hold the wheels for me, so you guys don't even try to buy them before me!!! or I will shoot you.

19x8.5 front
19x9.5 rear

can someone tell me how good they are? quality, weight, etc....

I know they probably weighs a ton but I am kind of tired of searching around for a set of wheel. I don't have couple grand to spend and I don't want RS4 reps!!!! I just want something big and different, this suits me well

I had those same wheels (different company) on my Benz and they weighed like 60 lbs for each wheel/tire fully inflated in the rear, and 50 lbs in the front. So yea.... they looked nice but kind of heavy.

a tire is like 23-26lbs, so the rear wheel is like 33-37 lbs. o damn

Exactly. The car was very noticeably slower with those. Who knows though, maybe that brand is lighter than what I had (Moven C16s).

the thing is, it's so freaking hard to find a perfect set of wheels for Denim Blue. Blue just plays 100% out of the wheel.

I am kind of tired of looking. that set I found was nice and already have tires on. I am lazy that I just want to put the wheels on right away, don't want to find tires and then wheels and then match them up. ehhh, I have gone through enough.

If the wheels don't look good on my car, I will just sll them then

unless something that looks very nice which happens rarely. e.g. a nice set would be black BBS CH time attack

what size wheels and tires are you running?

I will be running 19x8.5 and 19 x 9.5 on 235 and 265 tires

Why go staggered on those wheels when there's barely a lip on them? Barely noticeable, just saying.

If I bought staggered wheels, I'd use the same size tires all around. 235 will barely stretch on a 9.5" wide wheel. The VW guys stretch 195s over 9" wide wheels all the time. 265s seem more suited for 10.5-11" wide wheels.

I was actually referring to the wheels on the yellow S4, I would want a lower offset and more lip on the rear in a staggered setup. That's just MHO.

Wider doesn't necessarily equal better performance, I'm thinking rolling resistance.
But with "550awd or bust" I guess you get to do whatever you want

Yes, you need the hub rings. Otherwise, you'll more than likely get vibrations from the wheels on the freeway.
