    Can't use iPod controls...

I replaced my old 30 gig iPod with a new 120 gig iPod Classic. Unfortunately, I can't use the controls on the iPod when it's plugged into my DICE--only the stereo and steering wheel controls which makes impossible to easily get to 95% of my music. Is there some sort of setting that I'm missing or did Apple do this to me on purpose?

    Re: Can't use iPod controls...

I'm not sure if the DICE is the same as the Ice Link Plus, but in order to use the iPod controls, you need to have it on the iPod interface and not the Dension interface.

On the Ice Link Plus, you go into the settings menu and then click 'Access iPod'.

It then asks you to remove the iPod (for about 5-10s) and then when you then plug it back in, it should be on the iPod interface.

You can still use your stereo (and steering wheels controls) to skip tracks, fast forward and rewind.

You can't skip playlists though which doesn't bother me.

    Hope that helps.

No settings in iPod has to be your unit.
