revo software question

got my car flashed last week with Revo. everything is great and i absolutely love it. only thing is that when im in the higher gears and i floor it and the boost peaks, i get a weird vibration coming from the rear end. does anybody know what this could be?

My car did this with my reflash also. I'm thinking it has to do with how much more the car "torques" now and maby something rubs?

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one with this symptom. I replaced my snub mount today but that didn't do anything for it.

Guys with GIAC are getting that too. I'm not completely sold on the clutch chatter idea...I dont' get it at all. Boost will spike though, becuase the load at that speed and in that gear is very high.

I 1st noticed it in 2nd gear getting in the boost at around 2500rpms..

so there is no fix for this? i find that hard to believe.

Many people experience this same issue with chipped B6s. This issue has come up in several threads in the B6 forum. After many guesses and arguments it seemed that it has to do with the driveshaft or driveshaft bearing/joint. No real fix for it. It's just caused by the non-linear torque spike produced by chipped K03 cars. Higher gears spike more boost and have increased shaft speed, which apparently makes the driveshaft wobble a bit causing a vibration.

I'm not an expert on this, but that is what the general consensus came to be. Maybe see if you can look up those old threads.
