you can use imageshack or photobucket for an easy way to do it. then just find the link under the picture that looks like...

so you got it, the one with the park assist? congrats! and yes, easiest way to post pic is to upload them to a hosting site like photobucket. then you can copy the [img] codes that it generates for you and paste it into your post/reply. really easy to do.

Anyway, looks good. Loose the front plate mount and you should be good...well, maybe some new wheels and a drop. What exhaust is on there?

I think the point is that the entire side of the house we can see had two tiny portholes, err, windows.

Actually I think he meant black ; as a matter of fact I was sold on an 05 Dolphin S4 untill i saw the new Lava grey that audi came out with on the Q7 and A3 and to me it made the dolphin grey look weak.

That's common with most new (newer) construction these days. People don't want to pay the upgrade costs of windows on the side of the building. That or the architecture just doesn't allow for it.

Ok guys lets get off the window topic and back to the maintenance of this car. Is there a major maintenance schedule that i have to keep? Also, is this a reliable car? All research of this S4's prior to my purchase says they are pretty solid. Do you huys agree?

P.S. Who the hell would buy a house with windows like that?!

Service intervals are every 10k (15k, 25k, 35k, 45k, 55k, etc.) with the first major ($$) service being at 55k, I think. Most recommend oil changes every 5k, though. Did the car not come with an owner's manual?

The 4.2 is pretty solid, but there are minor issues here and there. An example would be bad coilpacks. You'll also get your share of electrical gremlins too. Don't forget it's an Audi and it's German.

You defiantly shouldn't have bought an Audi if you don't have money to pour into it.. They break (Alot compared to something like a Toyota/Honda). And they are far from cheap to fix.
The S4 is a great car to drive. But reliability and low cost of ownership aren't its strong suits. Neither is Fuel Efficiency. :-)

Ive owned a B5 s4 for 4 years and never had anything major go wrong with it. I loved that car and I treated it well and she treated me well by not breaking. It never broke down on me at all. Had a few minor issues but nothing major.

These cars are expensive to own because of time it takes to repair anything. everything is labor intensive. if you have some good mechanical knowledge the car is a pieace of cake to work on. nothing is hard to do on these cars, just takes time to work on it.

My b5 s4 i had the motor out and on the ground in 3 hours when i did turbo's on it. I only did them because my warrenty was getting ready to end and i work at a shop so i can write it up for whatever. And it wasnt hard at all to pull the motor out.

Everyone is scared of the car because the engines are so tightly packed into these cars is all. granite is not like a simple 30 min belt change on most cars. But with a little time 2 hours you can have it done. No bolt is hard to get to at all.

I love audi's and there more reliable than other cars i believe. I love my B7 all the way.
