car shaking

hay just want an opinion, when im stopping from 60+mph pretty hard the whole car shakes. i know its not my front or rear rotors and all the bolts on the brakes are tightend to factory spec... what could be causing this

Could be warped rotors. Unless you did just change them. Bad tie rods and/or control arms could also do that.

How do you know its not your brakes? Did you replace both the roters and pads recently?

yes i did about a month ago

just because they are new doesnt mean they cant be warped. get the rotors warrentied and try again

I would jack up the front of the car, take both wheels off and give the whole front suspension a good look over.

that is a thought, ill look into... but because of upcoming track days i think i might just upgrade the brakes all around anyways

rolling around in any snow lately? snow/ice buildup on the inside of the rims can cause nasty vibrations too

Do this and go from there. Shake everything around. Bad suspension parts will be very apparent this way.
