Hey guys, so i'm running the stock 205/55 16 size on my 2000 a4 now, i came across this local guy trying to get rid of his snow tires
but the size is 195/55 16, for 85 bux i dont want to pass it up, but will 195 fit without having to stretch the tires http://roanoke.craigslist.org/pts/980874247.html

they will actually be better. Narrower tires cut through snow rather than floating on top of snow.

    +1
Winter tires are usually 10mm (the 205 vs 195 difference) narrower than summers/all seasons for reason mentioned above. Buy them. Just make sure they still have decent tread left for them to be effective.

ps. can't believe hes selling all 4 tires for the price of half of 1 new one... There might be bulging when you inflate. Inspect thoroughly

    +1 to everything previously said...

beware though, if the buy seems too good to be true... it usually is

(craigslist is usually the only exception to that though, so could just be a great find, who knows!?)
