The seats fit. The only thing which does not fit is the side part. You will need to order that at your local dealer.

i believe the only thing that works is just the part you sit on, the backing parts of the seat are different and use different latches. They have the accessibility for the tourneu covers and the luggage cover. also they have 3 headrests vs the sedans 2.

For the record; they DO fit. Check out the pictures I've made during the installation of an RS4 interior into my sedan:

so the sedan to avant doesn't fit? I was about to purchase a full alcantra interior from a sedan to put into my avant, so will it work or am I wasting time?
    Go sedan yourself!

Yes the do "fit" however they are not 100% functional as the backrest will not latch in the upright position.

Physically yet they fit however the avant backrest latching mechanism and the sedan latching mechanism are vastly different. The sedans latch consists of a loop that sticks out of the body and goes into the seat backrest. The avan't consist of a bolt that sticks out and the backrest latches to the bolt, You'll have to use an avant backrest for the avant and sedan backrest for the sedan, or somehow make something that adapts everything together. The side bolsters are also different from sedan to avant.
