I was quite completely surprised last week when Stromung told me they are moving to a new Magnaflow catalytic converter. This new product is much better than the older ceramic Magnaflow cat in terms of long life.

The new Magnaflow cat offers
- 30% more flow
- A stainless metal honeycomb (not ceramic) substrate that is coated with the substances to reduce the emissions.
- Better laminar flow with a long taper IN to OUT..

Stromung wanted to use these for a long time but only recently (like LAST week) was able to confirm the Magnaflow model available for our Audi S-cars.. Stromung wants to change over to this stainless internal cat for THIS production, they feel so strongly it is a much better cat than the old ceramic unit used in the past.

My challenge is asking you to cover the $30 cost increase. And I apologize for not presenting this sooner. I honestly did not know about this when the original GB price was set.

I just got the Stebro system for my 200 tqa, almost went for the Stromung, but the other was more local and shipping was free... not a 3 in. though but 2 x 2,25 in
