    Exclamation Car did not respond to VAG-COM

    Went to Autozone to have them scan my car and my car didnt respond...what could be the reason for that?

    Autozone equipment is never the same as vagcom.

    worked on my car too about 2 yrs ago.

    Did they have the key in the ON position? Also I found that you have fidget with the obdII connector to get it to seat correctly

    Really hmmm well i didnt wanna bug the dude most places charge for a scan and he didnt ... might have to just hit him up again...the connection is located just behind where you pop the hood correct?

    No I got stock radio, and yup I do have the ignition in the on position... could it be that I have a bad battery?

    if your voltage is low enough MAYBE... though it's not a problem i've run into very often at all. what were they scanning your car with? the normal ol' generic orange scan tool?

    FWIW - all autozone's are supposed to scan free... same with most other places along those lines. (pep boys, advance, oreilys, etc etc)

    Ya, they did a battery test and it was bad, my alternator is charging so that isnt bad and ya they were using a orange one.
