So I've been thinking about quite a few things lately and was wondering if I could get other ppl's experience on this since I'm only 19.

    1. The little strip of plastic that is on the floor that your heels sit on is ripped. This makes it difficult to shift sometimes since my heel gets caught in it. So what would be a good idea here? Floor mats? (and if so, what kind)

    2. And are the pedals in these cars closer together than other cars? I wear a size 14 and heel-toe is really hard, it seems like such a tiny area. Granted, I'm no professional. My last car was an 89 mazda 626 . It was a little easier in it though. Are there any pedal upgrades you personally like, or should i go get some 2fast 2furious pedals at autozone?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Lol. and how do you afford an 02 at 16 years old? i was thinking about gettin something newer than mine, but i figure if i'm gonna pony up the 12 or 13 for a car, i'm just gonna Save a little more and get an STi. Thats where heart has been for the past couple years, That or Evo.

    Re: Random Questions

If you want a JAP car you can just leave now. kidding. But hey if you don't wanna spend a lot just get some adhesive and glue it down. Other wise I would do factory floor mats cuz they won't slide around. And if your a size 14 I don't see how you could have trouble doing heel-toe with those monsters! hahaha

do not buy any other floor mat besides OEM! ... used is fine or from a website, save you from spending a load of cash at the dealership

    Re: Random Questions

yeah just pick up the OEM floor mats.

as for the pedals being closer, i say that is pretty true. i have size 13 shoes and i have driven a 3000gt, 300zx, 240sx, bmw 325ci, s4 and my a4. I can say from experience that the pedals are closer and you do have alot more toe room. i always got my feet suck when driving smaller sport cars and the audi's from what ive experience have alot of room for your feet...you also sit higher then in the japs so your kinda pushing down and in more as opposed to straight in with your toes hitting everything above the pedals.

    hope this helped =]

    Re: Random Questions

I would check somewhere like a local junkyard or the classifieds for rubber mats (OEM), or try out A-P specialties (no affiliation). Not that I know anything about manuals, but ive heard from friends that on the A4 it is hard to heel-toe and that a new set of pedals from like AWE will help out alot.

    Re: Random Questions

OEM floor mats and aftermarket pedals will solve your issue. AWE pedals, MOMO pedals, etc.
