yes when i installed mine i didn't go the ecu way you have to take off
the left tire and you will see a small gromet go inside the car and take off the
bottom piece where the ob2 port is you will see threres 2 scews on the bottom and 2 on the side where the fuse box is then just pull it and she will come out then just route the wire out and use zip ties follow the brake lines inside the tire well and make sure you don't tie your zip ties to tight done

Did you take the plastic cowling off? You have to remove both windshield wipers to do it. My passenger side seems to be welded in place, so I could only remove the drivers side wiper. That still gave me just enough play in the cowling to use a flex shaft to get that last ecu screw out.

I really didn't have any problems at all during my install. The part that took me the longest was connecting the T, because I took off the TIP and throttle body to hide the connection under the manifold. As for the ECU cover bolts, I just use a 3/8 drive ratchet, and all was fine. You just kinda have to be a little bit rough with the cowl cover to get to it.

Re: awe boost buage install help!!!!!!!!

Dont break anything off ! Its pretty simple ...
    1. Remove the drivers wiper arm
    2. Use a thin extension on your socket and slide it through the hole the wiper connected through and guide it into the screw in the back.
    3. back out the 5th screw till loose then remove the socket and reach in with your fingers and pull out the screw by hand.

For re-installation just reverse the instructions and start by placing the screw in place by hand.

I have removed 30+ ECUs this way without breaking anything.

QuattroRocket is right. I just did this a week ago. Follow the step by step on awe's site and you should have no problems. Make sure you have a short extension though or else you will hit the hood when going through the hole for the wiper.

run it through the ecu box, cut a small hole on that tubing that goes to the ecu on the motor side, run the vac line through that, i did that and it was no problem, u gotta start from the inside, makes life a lot easier to see where your running it to....also

Did you remove the plastic cover attached to the bottom of the windshield? If not just gently pull on it upwards. It will pop right out. Then you will have enough room for the last torx screws. Then, use some soapy water and pull it through the nipple on the bottom. I used Matini's DIY on www.a4mods.com when installing my Podi .

Re: awe boost buage install help!!!!!!!!

okie guys i installed it .....unfortuntly i had no paitience and snap the back piece off ...wasent a big brake just enough to take it off so the cover is in pretty full shape . ran everything through connected the T fitting and everything is running as instructions said.....had a minor kinned problem with the house under the inside dash but fixed it ....now my only question is when i turn on the car the guage read - 20 hg ......when i took it for a test run the psi went up to about 10 psi not to much as theres was traffic but then when i was crusing it was in the hg once more going down to 20 then up between 5psi and 20 hg ...is that normal reading or did i miss something ? i know the guage is more for looks and not performance but just want to make sure i installed it right
