I just bought 3 coil packs for $32..at the DEALER!

I went over to my Audi dealer today to pick up 3 coils (one was changed on warranty a couple weeks ago) and a 2.0T badge. I get the bill, paid it with my CC. I get in my car and I got to thinking, WTF, why was the bill only $64. I get home, look at the bill and I see that they charged me for the badge and ONE coil.

I’m a sucker, the next time I go to that dealer I will notify them and pay the difference….would hate to see the guy pay for a stupid mistake.

    Hehe :-)

My car has 45,000KMS, but I don't think that had anything to do with it.

When I bought my car from the dealer, they washed the engine causing pack number 4 to blow up.

Do a search here, you will see that most coil pack failure (on 2006+ A4's anyway) were cause by engine detailing.

I figure if water got into number 4 it could have gotten into the others as well. They are cheap (in my case, very cheap lol) so why not just change them all? Peace of mind.

They washed it and it blew up - exactly why Karma is biting them now! ;)

I'd keep the other 3 that were wet but not 'bad' in the trunk just in case though.
