I agree. The only thing about the B7 I like better is the 2.0T and 6 spd tip. Oh yea, and the console cupholders. I'm a coffee drinker.

i'd be curious to see b6 rear onto b7 on the avant, they really messed it up on the b7 in my opinion. b6 = the sex.

it seems if audi is making there more "euro" bread and butter cars like the A4 a lot more luxury looking. The S5, R8 and RS6 are the only cars looking "euro," to me at least. I think they should make their higher end cars "nice" looking and their smaller cars more young and hip looking. You have to admit though, the B7 RS4 is absolutely stunning in person. I don't care how much you don't like the b7, the rs4 is amazing.

I don't think so, it's the fact that the japanese and domestics bit the european car designs so hard that everything is kind of looking the same.

For example, I'm sure that you've seen that with a quick glance a Hyundai Sonata looks like a B6 Audi, and from the back, the new civic resembles a B7. The new camry has a similar profile to a BMW 5-series and so on.
I don't find it a fault of the european car designers that they're getting copied so much that it's hard to stand out, that's what people want I'm sure.

Total BMW style. That's the new trend of Kia, Hyundai, and cheap japanese car models. They copy the styling of a really expensive higher end model cars such as a BMW 7 series and then they say "see ours looks the same, but costs $17k!"

Take the new Hyundai ads in motor trend for example. They have a picture of a car from the front end with no grill emblem. Then above it they put removable stickers with different make grill pictures on them. And it says "what kind of car do you think this is?" or something along those lines. Underneath the sticker it will say right or wrong. So for the genesis they have a BMW, Lexus, Audi, etc. And they have an SUV ad so they have Land Rover, etc. It basically looks like the land rover from the front. But it's the Hyundai... Creative ads, but in the end it's still a Hyundai.

The trend certainly is to imitate European designs, that's undeniable. I can't count the number of times I've heard "European looks" in a car commercial.

Why ruin a classic B6 for a B7 front that looks stock? Seems like a lot of wasted money, but kudos for the effort and what looks like a good job. Anyway, it goes like this

i think the B6 to B7 front end conversion looks worse than an ugly knockoff body kit. there's a reason audi created a B6, and then a B7...instead of just combining the looks. in case you didn't know, the reason is that it would look retarded.

It does not look that bad on the avant with the kit on it, but the sedans i dont think it flows very well..

You will need the B7 front slam pannel but the B6 rad and everything will bolt on from what the guy said.
