^^ Adam said it...They have a location on Madison Ave., and one on Florin Road in So. Sac....

Also, if you're more in the south area, go see Paul at Performance Exhaust (714-0938). Tell him you know Justin with the Audi, he'll hook you up.

I did find someone local that acutally does mobile repairs so they come to me with a trailer that has a lift, pretty sweet idea. will see how that goes on Monday and if anyone needs their info i can forward it.

please state modlist...id like to see this

my local exhaust shop in sj mentioned new 09' stuff taking effect when i was in last week but it didnt seem to regard anything of this regard
...they must be worried about aftermarket/non smog abiding additions they are involved with...and if thats the case, they wont be around much longer

Re: Looking for an exhaust shop in the Sac area.

yea its because i do not have factory cats on the car, they said they will only touch a car that has factory cats unless towed to their shop. I even asked them what if i were to bring them the car and have some factory cat replacements put on, they still didnt budge. They sounded like they recenlty got busted for something because the person on the phone kept saying i might be undercover and they cant do it. Well they lost my business already.

Yeah i heard that from a few shops. They have undercover smog people that bring in cars to trick them up on purpose and if they pass when they shouldnt have they get in trouble. So how do u like those 034 track density mounts?

Havent broke in the car yet to really fell how they perform, but they do add a tad more vibration into the cabin over the 01.5 s4 (same as rs4) ones, not bad enough where its anoying and i would yank them out.

Re: Looking for an exhaust shop in the Sac area.

    Hey guys,
I got word of this thread from a friend of mine and figured I should get involved. My name is Colby and I own and started both Muffler Techs here in Sacramento. It has always been my policy to have a can do attitude at my stores, and when I was running them that is always the way I did it, especially when it comes to performance cars and mods. I love performance cars, and I love doing mods to them, that is why I got into the business. Unfortunatley, my responsibilities have grown and so have my different areas of business, and this has limited my time at my shops, so I have had to rely on my employees to carry on my intentions for me. Evidently this is not happening. I want to personally apologize for any negative experiences that any of you have had and I would like to extend the invitation to give us another chance, I won't turn you away. As far as the legalities, I am sure we can figure a way through it. If anyone here wants any exhaust work, you can call me personally @ 916-997-3687. Please don't abuse this as it is my personal cell phone. -Colby Sandman

I have probably taken 6-7 cars to MT in the past few years always with the same reasonably priced and dependable outcome. They do a fantastic job and I say give them another try.

Wow, that is what I call customer service! If I were in your situation, I would give them another try based on this post alone.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Anyone that spends any kind of time on any of these forums are truly car enthusiasts, and it has been my experience that ethusiasts are the best customers. I am glad to hear there are more than a few that frequent my establishment here.
