Changing from 4 spoke B6 to 3 spoke B7 S4 - You must READ!?

After a lot of investigation I found this link. Please read and see the discussions related to the main topic.

So can / should we ignore this or we would better to fallow DON DO IT words?

So there are a lot of people done this, whats the condition now? Something changed and invented and now this change is safe by now?

What do I need to make it safe? Wire , harness whatever?

huh, interesting. im about to get a TT steering wheel, and i never even gave it a thought that it wouldnt work. i do remember there being some speculation as to why Avanteix's airbag didnt go off when he wrecked his avant, but no one really made a stink about it so i figured it was all good. Can someone with some real knowledge on the subject please chime in? i dont care how good it looks, if the airbag wont work im out! Any light shed on the subject would be greatly appreciated as i am actively searching as we speak for a new steering wheel.

I'm so actively searching allover the world audi forums.. Could not get a %100 answer in negative or positive way..

you can't splice the signal to get rid of the light. the proper way is to just use a signal ignitor .... I'm fairly certain its okay since I have a Euro RS4 wheel, but don't plan on recking my car to prove it.

Could you get in MORE detail as much as possible? It would be great w/ pictures, ppart numbers, write up style explanations etc.. Really will be appriciated a lot

Either connect the second stage igniter only, or splice the wires together to connect both the first and second igniters to activate together as a single stage. Nobody has actually tested this arrangement, due to the cost, but there is no reason to worry that it won't work if needed.
