B8 diesel avant?

3.0 twin turbo diesel hasn't been announced for sale in North America yet...but with the demise of the S4 avant, this particular car would fill that void very nicely. ABT, Reiger, and Senner have all tuned the twin turbo diesel to the sound of 350hp and 500lbs/ft...

We need to create some buzz and demand that AOA bring this car over. Stock they make 370lb/ft. Hardly any mention of this engine anywhere on these boards...wtf

Isnt the 3.0 diesel supposed to be offered in the a4 sedan this year hence maybe theres a chance for the avant?

I believe the A4 3.0tdi averaged over 40mpg for that mileage marathon.

I want a diesel in my Avant. If I found a good plan I'd even sell the 2.0 and shoehorn a diesel into it.
