    Diesel coming to North America?

Audi says most North Americans have dieselphobia....

Either AG and AOA are missing the boat on this, or most North Americans are too dumb to know whats good for them.

Stats: 3.0 twin turbo diesel, 240hp, 370lbs/ft at 1500rpm...out of the box.
tuned 3.0 twin turbo's are reportedly making upwards of 350hp and 500lb/ft. ABT, Reiger, and Senner have all built tuned diesels that are monsters.

We need this car for the North American market. I would buy one in a heartbeat,...

    thoughts welcome.....

In fact, write AOA and petition them to bring this car over here.

Not a single reply...i guess that explains why they aren't bringing these to NA.. You guys have no idea what we're missing.

Umm I think all of us want the 3.0 turbo diesel in the US.... but there are already a lot of threads on this topic. I'm actually waiting to get a white B8 avant with diesel as soon as it hits the states which may take 2-3 years :-/

Is the 3.0TDI Audi uses a twin turbo? I thought it was a single turbo. Can someone clarify please.

The A5 is offered with a 3.0TDI, why wouldn't audi use it in the a4?

They do! They offer a full line of diesels in all of their cars everywhere except the US. I have heard that there will be an A4 with this engine though, but not until after the Q7 TDI and the A3 TDI
