Question about Stasis Touring Brake System

No bites in the Brake Forum, I'll raise this here.

Installed Stasis' 349mm rotor upgrade kit and ran in to a few issues.

Primarily I'm wondering about how the pad comes into contact with the rotor. With most calipers, the pad sits within the circumference of the rotor, with the full surface of the pad in contact with the rotor's face. I noticed that with this kit, the pads actually extend further out than the rotor. My concern is that this would wear the pad unevenly and damage the outer lip of the rotor, and not maximize the full stopping power of the pad.

The rotors were taken off for an unrelated issue, however just wanted to hear peoples' thoughts on the design of the system.

    Thanks

Re: Question about Stasis Touring Brake System

Hmmm - something doesn't sound right there. I test fitted this kit on my car and the pads didn't overlap the rotor circumference. Everything fitted fine, (except my rims but that's another story....)

How far are your pads overlapping ? Picture ??
