Boost Suprise...

Installed the VMR Boost gauge today. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions

Stock boost is 9 psi right? Well... Since removing the mufflers, using copper plugs, and the K&N drop in filter, my psi spikes and holds at 10 psi 70% of the time and spikes at 11 and holds at 10.5 psi the other 30% of the time.

Im guessing this is coming from removing the muffs mostly, can any one chime in? It was a nice surprise for me lol. Just letting you all know

that sucks man, sry.

there is a little drone under 2k rpm when the throttle is applied, but above that the resonator keeps things quiet. i recently drove to Nashville and back, with revs at 3200 rpm, and it was as quiet as stock

im boosting 10 and peak 15 with only mufflers and k&n filter

it was $100 for removing both mufflers, as well as adding piping to the tips. im just using the stock piping diameter, 2.25 in.
