    Hello Everyone...
Ive been a fellow Audi guy for a long time and i seek your help....
We are living in NYC and we are thinking about moving to more warmer climates or to the west coast but we would like to see what is out there.
Me being the head of the family must have a secured job to be able to support everyone ( i dont have kids yet but are thinking about it) my wife loves to work so thats not a problem but i would like to make sure i have a job and this is where you come in. If anyone could help me land a job somewhere i would really appreciate it. I have a A.S. is Engineering and Architecture, I'm certified in Autocad, Master Cam and Rhino. I also have body work experience, mechanic and office. I have worked in Body shops, mechanics, Kitchen Cabinets, Retail Displays, Architect Ofiice and now in a Develepment firm.

Let me know what my options are so i could make my move.

Thanks everyone hope to meet some of you soon....

P.s. As for the Audi i do all my work myself. I have a garage where me and my buddy have done anything from oil changes to motor swaps. We are currently working on a 87 Supra to make into a drift car.

Why do you want to move?

I moved to Az. about 3 1/2 years ago from N.Y.C. (born and raised) and we're probably gonna go back within a year.

I love it here but I can't find a decent paying job.

the reason why i want to get out is because i'm starting to hate the city.. As for a decent paying job what do you mean???? How are the expenses there??? In NYC everything is expensive as usual. The cost of living i thing is more expensive then AZ..

I can speak from the architecture standpoint in Phoenix that the market is dead. I have numerous friends that are architects & A.I.T.'s (Architect in Training) that have been laid off and having a hell-of-a time finding new work. Basically, because of the Real estate market downturn, it has halted most of new development. These are guys that graduated with 4 year degrees from really good schools. Do some homework on Phoenix. Might want to look at Portland, Seattle, CA, etc. Good luck!

the cost of living in az compared to nyc is alot lower
you can find a really good 2500 square feet house for under 180k
and a 1300 place would be over a mill in nyc right
but you guys get payed more over there though i hope to offset the cost of living?
i would think gas would be cheaper here too
things would be alot cheaper here than over at nyc maybe 50% cheaper or more

az is not that fun of a state though there is things to do and see but its a drive sometimes
az in my opinion is one of the best places to raise a family communities around here are good areas are very clean compared to the other states i lived in
and the streets around here are all straight horizontal and vertical not like everywhere else not like the east coast i hate those roads and i lived in nc freakin small
az does have a little of everthing desert, mountain, forest, and it does snow here so you can go snowboarding i am actually going this weekend, lakes

know finding a decent good job um thats going to be hard
right know the state of az could be in a world of hurt if they cant figure out there financial mess could be in the neg in a few month if they cant figure a solution
so any state jobs right know may not be a good idea
but there are a few places that could be good for state that i do know needs people
the fire department all around the valley there are a bunch of guys that are about to retire, the chandler pd, peoria pd 50k plus get payed during training full benefit etc.
    hope that help any
