S5 Production numbers...

I was wondering how many S5 Audi is rolling out of the factory on a daily/weekly basis? Did they cut back production due to economic uncertainties?

I paid a visit to the dealership I placed an order for an S5 (back in August) and wondered if they had a VIN number or some sort of confirmation # that my car is in the system for a built. He didn't have any answer for me other that he only received 2 S5 in the past couple of months. He did mention that any S5 built after September will have the 3.0T. I just find it odd that he has 2 R8 on the showroom floor but no A5 or S5.

Resurrecting a really old thread. I just want to re-start it in the hopes of finding out the Audi S5 Production figures for US and Canada. Here is what I was told by Audi CANADA:

639 MY2016 Audi S5 Coupes Sold in Canada (includes Manual and S-tronic Trannys)
97 MY2016 Audi S5 Coupes Sold in Canada with Sepang Blue Exterior.
24 MY2016 Audi S5 Coupes Sold in Canada with Sepang Blue Exterior and Black/Lunar Silver Interior (one of which is my car).

You can e-mail Audi Canada and ask them for specifics. That's what I did to get those numbers.

Is that quantity for all S5's whether coupe or cabriolet?

Yes. They can't break it down to color roof color ext color.

I saw one for sale on Cars.com in Washington State a couple months ago. I think it was dark grey with a red top. It doesn't look like it's there any more.

I think your right, not to many.
I'll keep snooping around and try and find a VIN.
I've had a few people stip me on the road and comment they have never seen this combo before.
