C4 A6 Avant Quattro coilovers

Do they exist? Looking into picking up a C4 Avant, and i hate cars at stock ride height. Are there any suspensions (coilovers) available for these cars? Are their suspensions really all that difference in design than the C5's?

its the same as a urS6. the only company to my knowledge that makes coils for these cars is 034 motor sport and they bend you over to the tune of $1900 for them.

someone correct me if im wrong?

Your correct. I looked into some coils for my C4 and about vomited.

maybe im not a very good researcher, but im not comming up on anything for a C4, would be able to post up a link or something like that where i can see what im looking at. I really dont want to resort to doing a custom air setup

FK makes coilovers avail on ECS Tuning's site. www.ecstuning.com
034 has them also. www.034motorsport.com
2Bennett is another source, but they are pretty custom and $$$. www.2bennett.com
Addict Motorsport has a custom coilover kit also. www.addictmotorsports.com

For the C4 chassis your best bet is to look into a set of springs and shocks you will be happy with otherwise you will for sure spend over $1500 for coilovers.

Most people go with Eibach coils, Bilstein shocks.

But there are also H&R coils, Intrax coils, and OEM solutions like the sport springs off a 92' sedan or the S6 plus which i believe are stiffer because it supports the v8 engine..

The lowest lowering spring you can buy is the H&R.

Koni makes a good line of adjustable shocks. Bilsteins are rebuildable.

The PLUS side of a good coilover setup is that for the c4 chassis you will notice that the resell value is quite good. I have seen coilovers with low miles still sell for $1200+

Please do not put air ride on your A6 Wagon...errr Avant =)

do the 034 coils....yes I bent over backward for them...but its worth it.

2Bennett, 034, both make sets as stated above...
although, if you take a further look into 034's site; you'll see that KW now offers the varient3 c/o's.... if i were to replace my current setup (2bennett rear c/o's, 2bennett eibach front spring/shocks), that's what i would do for sure............
the problem is, with the c4 you'll most likely need to pick up some 2B camber correction plates.. *no these are not camber plates.

sorry... i only have these crap pics right now... this is as low as the front goes and i just evened out the rear to match.

sorry to hi jack this thread and bring it back to life cuz this is what popped on google as I searched for the same shit.

Anything new. I know this is an avant forum but I got a C4 sedan and after I'm getting my 18" wheels I need to lower the bitch and need a suggestion. From what I just read it will cost some good $$$ but maybe something changed since then? The way I wanna lower mine so both front and back match and not like back is much lowered than front...thats some low rider crap.
