Selling for a variety of reasons, but mostly because i need/want something a bit bigger. Considering a B8 Avant and then modding it to the max. Always loved the wagons even though the friends/gf think i'm nuts ;)

Looks like the B8 Avant ONLY comes in automatic and not DSG. argh...this is a problem!

The B8 avant you want is the 3.0 twin turbo diesel...unfortunatley i don't think Audi is going to sell them in North America

mmm, that sounds just about right. manual too i would hope :) we get such sucky choices here because everyone wants to buy monster SUVs instead of practical and efficient wagons. i love going to europe (germany in particular), driving around and seeing all the avants/wagons on the road. not an SUV within miles :)

Good thing you changed your mind. If I had a B7 RS4 sedan the only other thing I would change it for is a B7 RS4 avant, IMO. But since there isn't the avant version in America I would stick with what you got.

Agreed, i had the chance to drive an RS4 Avant in Germany, it's such a unique car with oodles of power. If it was available here, i would own one for sure.

did you rent it? one of the big companies (avis, hertz etc) rents RS4s for about 100 euros a day. Great deal when you consider a Fiat Panda is about 60!
