    was wondering about hub-centric rings

I just got some konigs for my racing setup and they fit very loosely. This is only my second set of aftermarket wheels so I am not sure how they should fit. They are obviously tight once the lugs are on, but I just wanna make sure that they will be safe. Do I need hub-centric rings for these wheels so they fit snugly to the hub? I don't want the lugs to break while I am racing and have the wheel fall off. Any expert advice would be great. I hear that I need the rings, but have no idea where I would get them.

The wheel should be perfectly centered on the hub without the lugs.
If it isn't then you need hubrings.
More localbwheel/tire shops should carry them.

Re: was wondering about hub-centric rings

Thanks a lot guys. I have always bought wheels from a company so they must have had them set up for my car before I got them. I am ordering the rings now. Hopefully they will be the right size.

That's where I got them from too. Thanks for the link. I didn't see this info when I bought the rings.

Aluminum rings. The plastic ones will deteriorate faster.

Plastic usually works just fine, and doesn't corrode and seize to the hub like the aluminum ones can.

Either is fine, just use anti-seize with the aluminum ones.

Ditto. I use plastic ones and they work totally fine.
