Alright so i bought some carbon fiber fabric on Ebay to give CF wrapping a try. Here is the outcome of the first of many interior pieces (gear shift surround). Let me know what you think.

Pep Boys stuff? This is not a vinyl stick. It actual fabric. 4 layers of resin, sanded it smooth and sprayed 4 coats of clear coat.

Honestly, its really not that bad. The key is mixing hardener with the resin so that each layer dries in 10-15 mins as aposed to 24 hours for each layer of resin. This piece took me about 3 hours before it was ready for the clear coat ( most of the time was waiting for each layer to dry and sanding). Without the hardener, this would have taken a week. I used this link for the DIY.

I was planning on it. This first piece was kind of a test. Since it came out pretty good then i'll do the rest. I kinda have to do the rest now anyway. I got enough fabric on ebay for $20 shipped to do the surround, both ashtrays covers, headlight switch sourround and all 4 doors. The resin was $10, the hardener was $5, and i got 10 small brushes for $0.77 a piece. It def beats buying a whole kit.

Alright, so here is the guy i bought the fiber from. Great seller, fast seller.

The resin and hardener is a product made by Bondo which you can find at Autozone or even Home Depot.
