Ever since ive gotten into a European car ive been looking for the right mechanic to handle my maintenance and problems. Several places i tried turned out to be too incompetent, overpriced, or simply someone i would never want to touch my car. Then through a buddy of mine i tried Elite Motors of NJ.

Sami is one of the best mechanics i have ever met. The amount of knowledge between his two ears is simply amazing. The quality of his work is next to none and his rates are far better than any dealership in the country. I've been in the shop before when dealer mechanics have actually called Sam when they cannot figure out a problem with a car.

I have taken my cars to Elite dozens of times for routine maintenance to modification installs to repairs and everything in between. I know a few other members here on the board have used Sami also. I believe i speak for everyone here when i say that he is one of the best mechanics in the state. I for one will not let anyone besides Sami touch my car.

I strongly urge all of you to give Sami @ Elite Motors a call for anything related to your car. He just moved to a new shop in South Hackensack where he is equipped with 3 lifts and everything he needs to take care of you. Trust me, you will be nothing but satisfied after seeing Sami. Dont forget to tell him that Joey sent you.

I use Sami for all my work.. Dont trust anyone else with my car except him. After my car was recovered from being stolen I took it to him to have him fix everything you cant be his work and competitive pricing.

Did a lot of stuff on mine (more than I want my family to know about!) -- downpipes, catback thru valence, replaced steering rack, sway bar, various misc maintenance from engine to brakes, ipod kit.... Very smart guy, talented, and likable as well.

Actually I was driving along in west essex county, passed a Z3 and he pulled up next to me at next light. Got me to roll down window, wanted to know if mine was the C5 at poker run. Said yeah, surprised he remembered mine (from rear, of course ) -- he said , "oh yeah, love the sleeper!" Proud papa chuckled.

Thanks once again to Sami @ Elite...

I had trouble getting my rear valve cover bolts off due to the limited space and the condition of the bolts. I seriously didnt think it could be done without pulling the motor.

Sure enough Sami defied all odds once again and managed to get them off for me.

Here is the crazy idea he had today...

you think i got charged too much? I was driving behind a Truck on a highway and the truck's tire blew. i had no where else to go since there was cars surrounding me so I drove over the tire. Scratched my caractere bumper and my middle mesh was ruined. I took to ELITE and he estimated me $750 to get the whole bumper painted, my headlight washer installed since the first bodyshop couldn't install it, and replace my mesh. Sami stated the price might be slightly up or down. Due to the reviews here in the forum i decided to go with ELITE. Early in the week, Sami calls me up stating the price will be $1200? WTF!!! Sami stated he needed to remove the paint on the bumper and start from scratch. I refused at first but he stated I would need to pay him $250 for the labor since he already removed the bumper. I tried negotiating with Sami but he wouldn't budge with the price. I did end up getting a $100 discount. $1100. I had no choice but to let him do the job since i will be down $250 anyways. At the end of the week, i went to pick up the car. The paint job was nice but he never replaced the mesh. Sami used my old ones. He stated the mesh he was going to use didn't fit. Why didn't he call me about this ?????? he bent the mesh back to together but there are still minor imperfections. Let me know your input on this.

I know Sam from my own personnel experience. I consider him a great guy and awesome tech. I will not be going anywhere else for mods that would require his knowledge. I am sure there are reasons for this that we are not hearing. I doubt arguing with him was a great idea. That is what it costs for a PERFECT job. I feel maybe more was damaged under the bumper than first expected.

Sami is not one to take advantage of a customer. He will call and explain every little detail to the customer before he does any work. His work is also second to none. I would trust nobody else but him to do the modifications and maintenance to my car that i couldnt do myself.

Yeah the guy next door did the paint job. I am not hear to bash on Sami. He is a good guy when I spoke to him but the charge was pretty steep. From an estimate of $750 and later told me it was $!200. Did i state the paint job was sh!tty? It did come out nice. I was upset the same mesh was used without being informed and the price jumped that much
