For the last one he might have mounted it to the rear window with a suction cup type device and zoomed in a bit.



As for the lens...I am assuming a 10-20 Sigma. But I can be wrong on all of these. But either way, great pics.

Can that mount hold a DSLR with a big lens on it? I read somewhere that the suction cup holds 70lbs but the head only holds 6lbs. I have a 30D w/ 24-105 Canon L lens and its a bit heavy. I've been debating on purchasing this but would love if you could give me a little review on it.

The lens I just picked up is over a lb and with the D200 and lens I'd say it's probably about 2lbs whole shooting assembly. The mount assembly is solid how I use it, all the load is on the one plate which is a solid connection to the suction cup base, I have no fears attaching 2k worth of camera equipment to it and driving around like that:) Keep in mind I am not going out and doing 60mph, but 30mph and under. I have had great success with the mount and the video camera(once I started using SD cards instead of the HD) under heavy acceleration.Video camera is much lighter, and their is no mass cantilevered off the body though. I know a few guys who've used this same mount setup exactly who've had video camera's mounted over 120mph and had no issue.

I am still using a Trigger remote, since Nikon can't get it's ass in gear and make more ML-3 remotes.

That remote is a no go for the D200, I lover that little IR one. My brother has one for his D70, I was so pissed I couldn't use it on the D200. For first 2 years I had the D200 the ML-3 was never in stock, so I grabbed a wire remote, but will pick up the ML-3 this week now.
