[Newbie Q] Differences between S4 And S Line ?

newbie question here. can you guys mention to me about the differences between audi S4,s6 and s8 and Audi S Line ?

Isn't it S4 S6 S8 part of S Line models ? correct me if im wrong.

I believe the S line series are just the base A# models with the S# models components, like rims, bumpers/skirts, suspension (sport), and other cosmetic stuff. Nothing performance (unless you count suspension and wheel weights).

These cars are recognisable by their "S*" badges, and all Audi "S" models are equipped with their trademark quattro four-wheel drive system as standard.[1] Unique engines, along with larger, more powerful brakes and stiffer suspension systems set them apart from their related "siblings" within their model range.

Audi "S" models should not be confused with the lesser Audi "S line" models, which are merely a trim/specification level, similar to say "SE", which will share engines and brakes with the "lesser" trim specifications within their relevant model range."

I lived in Jakarta from '95 to '00, which was the longest I have ever lived in one place. I'm American but grew up all over because my dad's job was always taking us places. Denver was just where we always went to for summers and Christmas so after I moved out that's where I went.
