2006 Quartz Grey 2.0T Tip A4

I'd love constructive criticism, I have a lot of mods underway already.
First thing I am going to do is get H&R Sport Springs and lower my car.
Then I am going to Revo tune my car, and add a forge dv, vmr test pipe.
Along with, or soon after I am going to install a VMR boost gauge as well.

Oh, and I don't wanna hear any bullshit about my cfiber hood, I love it, it looks sexy, f*ck off haters.

I am thinking about somehow changing the silver trim around the grille and the two silver lines before the audi rings to a powderd black, but I am going to leave the Audi rings silver.




Cfiber trim throughout the interior. Black leather seats. Hot dayum




And this was all my recent audio upgrade. I went to a place called Audiofonix in Laguna Hills, CA. Audi of MV reccommended this place and they had good prices and alot of experience with audis, the installation is perfect, my car bumps so loud with one 12" and no distortion and the highest volume.

H&R Sport, Revo, Forge DV, RS4 Sway Bars, Boost Gauge and then I don't have any real desire to put more money into it then that.

Love the car A++.. only thing tho IMO is that the bumpers and the orignional paint on the cars dont match... maybe its just my screen but the car looks a different color from the car.... ALSO you might consider painting that U shaped thing that is behind the audi grille on the bottom right... I think its the tranny cooler or something, but if it were blacked out it would look sick! other than that A++ l

Yeah, the front bumper isn't the color of the rest of the car.

I've also noticed the front bumper is slightly off, it appears WAY more off in these photographs no one else can notice in person but me.. Do you think the body shop that installed it could fix that for me, how easy is that ?

I am not particular on the rims, but they are fine, and will look even better when the car is lowered.. I'd rather spend money under the hood then buy some sick rims.

Any other suggestions? Thanks a lot everyone !

I hate deval bumpers. Something always goes slightly wrong...it just doesnt fit right/paint right almost every time! I'd just go S-Line. Rest of car is interesting. I love the audio install. Wish I could do a stealthy speaker upgrade with my stock headunit. Not sure how that would work.

They would have to blend the paint with other areas on the car that are close to the bumper. If they don't do that, it will always look like it does now. That's the problem with aftermarket body kits/bumpers. Unless you spend the extra money to have them blended with other areas of the car, they will always look slightly off.

a drop, some rims, and take that spoiler off and you should be all set
and get a new putter

I like the wheels and the front bumper, but not a big fan of the rear spoiler. Car looks nice!

The rear spoilers look fine ppl.. with the drop and the rims they will go hand in hand.. What I dont really like, now that I look at it for a second time are those rubber things on your hood, the amp install ( I would have never just screwed them into the sides of the trunk, personally I would either build something to house them better, or hide them under the rear seats or something..) and lastly, what is that cable running from the side of the Navi to the front driver foot well.

only thing imo, not a big fan of is trunk spoiler (roof spoiler works well) I would prefer to see a cf dtm spoiler. even though it is a small one i just have never liked any "wing" spoiler on too many A4's. but nevertheless keep it up! keep up updated on the audio stuff.

i bought this car at audi mv for a very good deal, and thats the only reason im not driving a manual transmission car.

since then, a drunk driver ran a red straight into the front left of my car so I got to customize a bit, it already had a cfiber hood but had the caractere front bumper, i got a more high quality eurogearusa cfiber hood and a deval front bumper all covered by insurance.

furthermore, the rear spoiler is not my favorite at all, and was already on the car when I purchased it. It doesn't bother me that much though, it looks really good in person actually. It's something I want to replace but I have performance on my mind at the moment.

that cable is me being sloppy and not putting my auxillary input cable back in my glovebox. I had an ipod hookup that would use the dock portion of ipods/iphones but when I got my new system installed they put an RQ (or something) in the glovebox with an auxillary cable and when turned on it overrides the rest of the system.

fix the bumpers and do a drop and youll be set. everything looks pretty good to me. i like the contrast of the filler plate with the hood and the rest of the car. lookin good

Never been a fan of unpainted cf hoods, just looks unfinished to me. A nice drop and some contrast paint work on the hood will go a long way on that car. Otherwise it looks great!

I'd paint the hood and replace the interior trim. CF is just plain ugly IMHO. The car will look great with the H&R springs though. Love the quartz gray color!

car look good. but i personally dont care for the spoiler, the carbon fiber hood (just not my thing), and the wheels.. and obvioiusly the ride height but your fixing that you said.\

i think losing the spoiler might help it look a little more refined and not to 'done up' . sometimes less is more..

Looks great to me. I've got the same front bumper and also slightly off the rest of the car color wise.

Save your money and time and don't go with the H & R springs alone with the stock dampers, thats what I'm riding on right now and I personally find it too bouncy. Way too much rebounding on highway bumps for my liking. Going to go with the Stasis Street Sports coilover set up this coming spring. Even if you don't require the adjustable set up these offer they are designed and tuned to work the best for our cars.

Haha, I wouldn't go as far to say the two ball putter sucks considering it was (is?) the most used putter on tour. However, the Scotty Cameron's are real sick... I just don't have $300-$500 to spend on a damn putter! Consider yourself baller!

True that... and sometimes it's about the beer too. Last weekend I went snowboarding Friday (wrecked a bunch) and was sore and could barely swing a club on Saturday. I shot +11 on the front and was really struggling. Ended up having a beer at the turn and 3 more on the next 2 holes and finished up +1 on the back nine. Those brewski's will definitely loosen you up... Just gotta watch out for drinking too many and then you end up seeing double.

Well, to add substance to this thread and quit my thread jack extravaganza, your car is going to look real sick when you lower it! Can't wait to see some pics then, and try to get hold of someone with a nice SLR!

The ride looks good. There are a few things you can do to improve it but
the easiest would be to lower the car. Will make a huge difference in the
overall aggressiveness.
Maybe different rims down the line and a carbon spoiler to match the hood.


The paint match is not the bumper's fault. Paint always shows up
different on plastic compared to metal. Its not just body kits… factory
bumpers painted at a lot of body shops don’t match perfect either. And
like AudiWxGuy said, if you want it done right you have to pay the shop to
blend the paint with the rest of the car.

Without blending, newly painted bumpers will always look different than
the rest of the car… like this

I am going to paint the chrome trim around the grille black, get a new spoiler that doesnt stick up, lower my car, stage 1 revo with forge dv and vmr test pipe... tomorrow im doing a clear corner mod!
