Is there an easy way to remove the double sided tape they use to stick on wheel weights when balancing? I'm trying to clean the wheels on the gfs A4 right now and this stupid tape driving me crazy!

Acetone/finger nail polish remover, but test a small spot first. Pour it on a rag and apply the rag to the tape for about 10 secs. and it should scrape right off. Brake cleaner will work also.

Re: Is there an easy way to remove wheel weight tape?

at work we use brake cleaner and then scrape it off with a flat head..if u dont want to damage the finish just use a heat gun and rub the rest of the adhesive off..takes a little bit of muscle tho

you can also go get a plastic scraper that won't mess up your paint.

the 3M stuff works really REALLY well btw, completely forgot to mention that - so thank you skid. where you been lately anyways?
