    bruise on my car =(

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Today i was putting my car in my garage and when i pulled in i went to go move this shelve thing and metal box fell out and slammed right into the side of my car causing me to cry, it left a little dimple and small scratch.

I touched it up a bit but i was wondering is it a easy DIY or should i just take it to my pops friends shop which would most likely cost me nothing and what would they do with a small scratch dimple that i have?

They could probably smooth out the dent without much effort, but they may not be able to do anything about the scratch without respraying the entire fender.

A big part of the cost is what panel it's on.

I check with a local "dent doctor" or the like that specializes in dent removal using heat and magnets to reform the metal. I had 1 removed from my Audi when I bought it and a few removed from my Z as well. They do a great job and it's amazing to me what they can get out. For the Audi I paid $80 to get a ding out of my rear quarter just by the gas door and the Z was 105 for 3 good sized door dings.

Yeah that's what I was getting to. Sometimes it depends on which panel the ding is on though.

They usually charge by the panel, the first is more expensive and each after that is less.
