EPC Light on: Very little power. Help!

    Hey,

I installed GenJDM's bi-pipes, I had to remove the TBB to do so as I needed some leeway to move the pipes around, so the only 2 electrical sensors I messed with were the sensor that goes in the TBB, and the other plug right next to it (not sure what that's for either).

Upon starting the car up after everything was all said and done, the EPC light was on, and the car barely moves. I can maneuver it in and out of the driveway, that's about it. Like.. there's NO power.

Any ideas? I'm unplugging the battery quick to clear the codes and will update this post accordingly.

Do you have vag? that should tell you your problem.

I thought the connection for throttle cut was in that area? Not sure which one it is but by your description maybe thats what you screwed up. Can't you reconnect it? or wasnt there instructions what to do with those electrical connections when installing the bipipes?

Don't have a vag-com :( They are connected.. thing is I broke the clip on the one plug (not the one that goes into the TBB) but it is still plugged in and zip-tied into place.

I didn't disconnect the battery when removing those plugs.

Therefore, could this be a fuse or something simple? If so, what fuses to check?

    Thanks!

I think I broke the plastic clip off mine too, but as long as the electrical connections aregood you should be fine.

    Not sure where fuse is.

Other thing I would check is if any boost leaks, or maybe you hooked something up wrong like one of the dv's

I know when I replaced my dv's I had a problem with one of the new ones and the dash lights lit up like christmas tree and I could hardly get the car to run. I then put one of the old dv's back on and it ran normal. I ended up having to get another new one and then I was set

Did you mess with the dv's at all while replacing the tbb with bi pipe? at least thats what I assume you were doing.

Either one of those sensor will do that. Sounds like one or both are not plugged back in.
