window motor

[Pothole]

ok so i took my front driver side door apart today to "fix" a squeek i had in the window, long depressing story later door is apart, window down motor doesnt make a sound, i checked the fuse and it fine

is there i way i can test to make sure the motor is really dead before i buy a new one $290 on genuine vw audi

um..... never mind
i took off the motor and put it back on and now it works

so i guess you can place bets for how long until it craps out again

this ever happen to anyone else?
