    ECT and Misfires? HELP

So about 3 weeks ago CEL comes on its

System Too Lean (forget the exact code).

I take it to a shop and they found a cracked check valve. So he clears the codes replaces valve and everything is peachy.
I then notice that when I start the car in the mornings, it doesn't rev to 1200 RPMs or whatever and it takes a long time to warm the car up. The next day new CEL comes on

    P3081: Engine Temp Too Low.

After doing some research I decided to buy a new ECT sensor and top off the coolant (it was below the min line) So I replace the sensor (although the old sensor was green as well) and turn the car on. All of a sudden flashing CEL,

    Multiple Random Misfires
    Cylinder 2 Misfire
    Cylinder 3 Misfire
    Cylinder 4 Misfire

I tried to swap 2 and 1 coil pack. No new Misfires on 1. Car drives fine. Although still no Cold Cycle start.

My question is could the new ECT cause misfires? If not, what else do you guys think it could be.
