Is there a way to get rid of my fart can?

Hey guys, what up?Back in summer i paid a visit to my exhaust "mechanic" back in the capital.I changed both the middle resonator and my mufler to make the car quiet. The reason i did this was, that i got rid of the loud exhaust sound and also decided to it was better to save my money than paying "over the limit" exhaust sound tickets!!Problem is that my mechanic had a lot of work that day and he couldn't make me the dual tips i asked him on the mufler!I had to stay and take the car the other day for him to make them....So,what i'm asking is,can my local exhaust shop remove the stupid fart can and put dual tips on my existing mufler??

when people refer to fart cans, they mean the actual muffler itself, not the big round tip.

and yes any exhaust shop should be able to cut off the single tip and turn it into a double, although it isn't really the same as a muffler with 2 exits.

Oh,didn't know that.I was refering to the tip.My mufler is handmade that's why i don't think it will have any diference. And if it is,i doubt that it will noticeable performance wise

You only want to change the tip of the exhaust? Depending on the muffler length and outlet diameter you can use something like this:

OR you're going to need the old one cut off the muffler and have the dual outlet welded directly onto the muffler. I can't see exactly what you're talking about so I'm not 100% sure of the work that needs to be done.

But basically, take it back to the guy you had set it up, and ask him if he can modify the current setup without buying a new muffler. Then go from there.

Djwimbo if nothing comes to nothing i'll probably use somrthing like that...I want if it is possible to completely cut the tip off and put on the mufler the 2 new tips.

Problem with my exhaust guy is,that he is 500km away from me.So i got to deal with the locals

Time to look around for a good local. Anybody in your area have a welder and know how to use it? Our local forum(statewide) has half a dozen members that can weld sufficiently enough to do what you need, but without having to pay for it. Or at least pay money, a couple beers/Ale/brews/... moonshine works too.

Yeah,i know a local exhaust guy here...In fact we go to the same gym...He just isn't number 1 in my mechanics list, but seems that i don't have any other option...After all is just a tip!How wrong can it go

I'm paying him a visit tomorrow. If he pulls it off,i'll get a couple of pics with my new camera i'm also getting tomorrow
