HELP!! What's wrong with my car...

with 16k kms on it.... i had my first CEL last night...
and after a couple of hours...when i restarted the car again...
the light goes off...
anyone has experienced anything like this when their car is less than a year old??...
i really dont think much could happen with a car with 16k kms on it...
should i still bring it in to the dealer??TIA...

is the driving quality effected in any way??? check ur manual if ur due for anything(spark plugs/coil packs)
i have a b6, can't check for u, another thing is, get someone local on the forum to vagcom ur car, it'll shoot out a code then u can determin were to go with that..

Might just be a loose gas cap. I'd wait to see if it popped back up again, then take it to the dealer.

An Audi Tech told me that 90% of CELs are loose gas caps. If it went away, that's prob what it was. If it's still driving fine, just have them run it for codes next time it's in for service.

probably fuel pressure sensor or intake manifold flap.
