It takes H7, same as our headlights. I will have the regular halogen bulb for now until I order my D2S kit.

I will take more pictures tomorrow of the output. I'm not sure if I want to tweak the projector a bit or not since it's going to be a foglight and I will barely see the cut off anyway...

Edit; Just went into the garage and took some pictures... Not sealed and no HID bulb. Logically, they should have more output than the headlights lol!

    Re: Retrofitting projectors into foglight

The only thing that worries me so far is fitment. Today, I will test fit it on the car before going any further. If it gets its, I'm going on with this...

    Re: Retrofitting projectors into foglight

    Heres an update...
Now here is the hard part... It obviously doesn't fit so I'll have to cut out the sides of the projector in order to have it fit in there.

You can see how much more room the projector takes..

Problem is not the length but more the sides that I need to trim off the projector

Obviously, it'll all be covered up once I finish, for now I just need to get it in there. More updates tonight since I'm going back down in the garage now..

    Re: Retrofitting projectors into foglight

So this is the room we had to work with...

In order to make it work, we had to cut everything around the lens...

    Projector getting raped

After, we shot some clear coat on the fresnel lens to make it clear

    Before:

    After:

Then we fitted everything and this is what we came out with...

So we put it on in the car but it wasn't aligned properly but it still lights out better than the regular reflector. Please note, this is still H7 Halogen Bulb.
Right side is the projector and left side is the regular reflector.

    Re: Retrofitting projectors into foglight

No I don't because it's not finished yet, I am still thinking about a material to seal the projector. Now I ran into a problem; Side mounted intercooler on the drivers side.

    Re: Retrofitting projectors into foglight

i wish there was a way to make the fog lights smaller and also include a proper projector into them. With my FMIC there is very little extra space for the fog lights.
