    What the hell.. alarm woes

Hoping maybe someone has experienced this before.. My alarm keeps setting itself off. it is getting ridiculous to the point of I can't even lock my car...

    Heres the situation:
EVERYTHING is closed all the way, still goes off
Turn motion sensor off inside car, still goes off
It will go off about 1-2 minutes after I lock it

Any ideas? I recently noticed there was some water that got in my trunk around the pass side in that little cubby. Is this related? This has happened once before it it just went away, but this isn't doing that..

Hoping someone can help, it is getting so annoying, I would rather not leave my car beeping and flashing for 5+hrs...

Yup. Check the Interior Monitoring and Central Locking modules. Clear the codes in them and get out and lock the car and wait for the alarm to go on again. Once this happens, get back in and check the modules again and it should tell you what sensor is triggering the alarm. I had the same thing happen to me and it was the hood sensor causing the problem. I just unplugged it and that was that.

hmm, okay i'll do that tomorrow. I am thinking it is my hood sensor giving me the issues because today when I slammed the hood closed I got it to beep when it locked. But now my cable came off haha, shit keeps popping off this is like the 3rd time

haha.. scanned it, had 2 codes, the hood and drivers side door. I unplugged the hood sensor and it has been fine for over an hour now. So I think i found the issue. never new I could use VAG-COM for alarm problems. Thanks guys
