coolant question??

two actually.. coolnat light has been coming on when cold start.. i think its time for some fluid.. can i only use the fluid sold at audi dealerships?? and if so how much does it run?? tried searching but couldnt find anything

you can also use water wetter ... sold at pep boys and autozone ... help keep it cooler iv been runnin it 4 a while no issues .... during idol my car can b fully warmed up and as it just sits there the temp gauge acually goes back down if it sits for about 3 or 4 mins in this weather

and i think the gallon of audi coolant is like 30 from the dealer i have some in my garage

a Gallon of G12 from the dealership is all you need (and water of course). It was roughly 35$ CAD.

I'm not sure about the coolant light, but a gallon of G12 costs me just over $23 USD at the dealership. I wouldn't put anything else in there.

it should be mentioned that the gallon you get at the dealer makes 2 gallons mixed 50/50. and use only the G12, do not mix anything else in there even if it says "all makes/all models."

really? you use this stuff? I was told that using this will clump up when mixed w/ g12.

OP: you can top off with G12, doesn't have to be from the dealer. Your local indy parts supplier might have some G12 Pentosin.
