I am hardly new to driving standard. See Sig for other car.

In the mornings when it is a bit nippy outside, shifting from 1-2, occasionally feels as if the shifter is either a) getting caught or b) the clutch is partially engaged. The clutch shows no signs of slipping and the usual culprit throw out bearing noises are no where to be heard.

The PO installed a B&M SSK. Is this a notoriously notchy kit? Its only bad on the 1-2 and sometimes 2-3.

Other times when I push in the clutch to put her in first I have to do it twice in order to get in first.

What gives? Sorry for the confusing post. I am on nyquil ugh..

    Re: Shifting issue

welcome to the club... Cold shifts from 1-2 are always rough in our cars. My car has zero issues trans wise and with it now being 16degrees at night while my car isn't warmed up i have to go from first to neutral to second to make it smooth for first couple shifts. theres probably nothing wrong, its common..
