New RS4 owner here

I just got my RS4 3 days ago. I am thrilled about it. I wanted to say hello to everyone in here. I am sure you will all get to know me here soon. I am a known tuner form my past and my area. I have built and tuned an Awesome Celica with a Lotus motor. Blitz S/C Lambo Doors and a obscene amount of CF interior. But, I am proudly in the Audi family now. My RS4 came with a Miltek exhaust and short shifter. I plan to get the Hotchkis Swaybars and a KW set up along with it. I will keep the stock set up through spring and then maybe make my move. I love the Euro seats and the Cabrio steering wheel, so I will be looking into that stuff as well. Happy New Year!!

and your celica sounds sick. that used to be my favorite car I still love the looks but the slow motor turns me off. not to say my 1.8t isn't slow stock but its alot more moddable and its turbo :) plus its not that slow anymore

You say Lotus Motor like its a one off swap that you accomplished when its a pretty well known fact that the 2zz's were used by Lotus in the Elise's therefore its not actually a "Lotus Motor". Its been a toyota motor since the 2000's if I have my dates right and to get real technical, it was a design they did in conjunction with Yamaha.
Sad to see people here actually buying into it and thinking its so sick when there were a ton of Celica's that were manufactured and sold with that motor before Lotus even decided to use the 2zz's. Just some food for thought, dont oversell. I know its an Audi board but you never know just who you might run into.

Anyways, welcome to the board and congratulations on owning the RS4. Is it a B7 or a B5? From the sounds of your plans, I'm getting the idea that its a B7.

I know I was thinkin that I may never wanna speak on here again. But, the truth is that Yamaha did actually make that engine. It was called the Beams Project. Toyota put it in the the Celica and the Matrix. They shoulda put it in the MR2 because that engine found its way into Lotus hands and became a kinda of super car Engine (power to weight ratio). I used that terminology because Toyota doesnt even use that engine anymore. Only Lotus! But I have parts from Everywhere. The list is too long to write. But, I have exibited it at HIN for the last 4 Years. And it is well respected among the tuner shops and enthusists in NY, NJ for sure.
I have always thought it was very quick. I had a 2006 Evolution MR and they were very even cars on the dry pavement. I do think this B7 RS4 is quicker than both however.
