Acetone to asve gas??? vid inside

Has anyone ever heard of using acetone in the gas tank to save gas? I was just looking at some videos on youtube and cam across this.

im not a chemist so I cant really say. I would be a little skeptical about actually putting it in because acetone is really strong. Then again, i think the guy said that he used only 2 ounces for 10 gallons of gas so its probably not as harmful when mixed with gasoline. Either way, i wouldnt want to be adding it in because im not sure what the long term consequences are.

Yeah that's what i was thinking, I'm not hurting for many bad enough to try and save a few dollars a week anyways

on similar (gas additives) but different subjects. Toluene can be used to raise octane levels. Never seen that mentioned on here.
