    headlight switch

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I recently switched out my headlight switch because my old one was in pretty bad shape. For some reason the new switch won't activate the front or rear fog lights.

    I had this switch -

And replaced it with this switch -

Any idea on why the fogs aren't working? I'm thinking of popping it out again and making sure the connection is all the way in but the headlights work fine so i'm doubting that's the issue. I don't have HID's is the switch i put in maybe for only HID setups or something?

    Re: headlight switch

you need to use the same switch (part #) as the original - newer versions won't work correctly

Switch replacement is easy. Press in on the dial, turn it ΒΌ turn clockwise and the switch releases. Pull the switch out of the dash and unplug the switch.

You had the one w/o the AUTO on it, so the switch harness is different.. If you want to use the AUTO one you need to get the harness and redo some wiring..

Based on the pictures of the auction it appears to be the same one that the OP needed.
