    I had a straight pipe and I loved it. Yours sounds really good. I cant wait to finish my BT I am thinking of keeping a straight pipe but we will see

    not bad......IMO the straight pipe at when sitting still is not that impressive, but at WOT and 5k rpm it sounds pretty damn sexy
    work in progress....

    Its loud and thats it. I ran straight pipe and it sounds like crap...

    what diameter pipes? also are you bt/bat?

    its a combination my buddy's shop was trying something new.3inch to 2.75 to 3 to 2.75 then 3 out the back.

    My onpinion? Sounds like a WRX and I don't mean this in a bad kind of way. I could always tell when a WRX or an Evo drive by. If I was to hear it in person I'd never think that's an Audi.

    this is making me want to get my exhaust pieced together soon. 3" V-band getting put on the oem-esque TP and mandrel bent 3" down pipe and exhaust to a glasspack and this muffler from borla:

    the reduction in diameter creates a different noise because of the air hitting the reducers, which is basicaly how a muffler works just much simplier.

    yea Boxer engines and Rotaries are two engines that can be distinguished by their exhaust note.
