    Name That Part Number

My friend has a cat-back exhaust from an audi so i told him to email me parts numbers so i could post it and maybe someone could tell me what model audi it came off of.

One thing he did say was, there are some kinda of valves on the rear muffler portion of the exhaust.

I also wanted to see if i could gain any interest in the part.

Here's a pic of the part number he sent me.

Hard to tell from ther pics

Don't be so sure your in the right forum.
It looks like a 2004 B6 S4 Stock Cat Back System but it's hard to tell.
The rear valves are in the correct spot for 2004 to early 2005 S4's.
But the weird bowed like bends between the center resonator and rear mufflers make it hard to tell for sure from your pics.
The front section of the B6 system connects str8 to the downpipes, yours seems to turn outward at the front end but the pic is cut off, if this is true then it may NOT from a B6.
Again your pics are not detailed enough to be sure but the "8E0" part number prefix is for the B6 series.
Either way, it's a stock cat-back system with almost Zero value.
Most people just cut them up and throw them out or recycle the metal.
The pic below is of the middle pipes of my late 05 stock exhaust.
If yours has these crimped pipes it's an S4 B6 stock system for sure.

    Hope this helps.
    Happy New Year

Why are the pipes "crimped"? Is it for fittment or functional? I noticed that on my S4 and my USP stock exhaust also had the crimps.

Is this deja vu? Didn't you already ask this a couple months ago? I think the answer was B6 S4.

Wow.. Mosteel you sure love to bitch.. You bitch when i start a new thread to ask a question so what do i do rather than start a new thread? I bump and post my questions in an older existing thread on the same topic and you still bitch.. Must be uncomfortable going through life with all that sand in your vag..

Anyway, back to my question. The resonators look like there could be some kind of minimal cross flow going on there. Does anyone know if they are they straight through on each side?
